Who We Are:

The Kitat Konenut, also known as the Civilian Guard, is a dedicated group of volunteer first responders who serve as the frontline defense in their communities. Comprising brave men and women from various backgrounds, these volunteers stand ready to protect their neighbors and loved ones in times of crisis.

Our Mission:

Our primary mission is to safeguard communities from immediate threats, including terrorist attacks and other emergencies. The Kitat Konenut volunteers are trained to respond swiftly and effectively, ensuring the safety and security of civilians until professional security forces, such as the police or the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), can arrive.

What We Do:

• Rapid Response: Our volunteers are equipped and trained to respond to threats at a moment’s notice. They act quickly to neutralize dangers and provide a protective barrier for their communities.
• Emergency Preparedness: We conduct regular training sessions and drills to ensure our members are prepared for any situation. This includes handling various emergency scenarios, from terrorist attacks to natural disasters.
• Community Support: Beyond responding to immediate threats, the Kitat Konenut also plays a vital role in fostering a sense of security and resilience within their communities. They work closely with local authorities and organizations to enhance overall preparedness and safety.
