About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

On September 19, 2025, we gather in Central Park, NYC, for a special orienteering run in memory of Unit 669’s fallen heroes – those who risked their lives to save others in Israel’s most dangerous missions.

This year’s Memorial Run is led by:

  • Kim Alloush, widow of Daniel Alloush (z”l), a Unit 669 warrior who gave everything in service.
  • Bar Reuven, former Unit 669 Team Commander and Co-founder of AFU669.

This is a family-friendly event featuring multiple course lengths suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal.

The event will take place in the morning and include light refreshments and drinks. Exact timing and meeting point in Central Park will be shared closer to the date.

Why this matters:
Unit 669 has been at the forefront of Israel’s most critical rescue operations – extracting wounded soldiers, recovering hostages, and operating under fire to save lives. This run is a tribute to their sacrifice.

Event Details:
