I am forever changed. I’ve always felt a deep connection to Israel—like it was home and I was just living in the U.S. October 7th only strengthened that belief, but this past week solidified it. People often ask if I have family in Israel. While I do, that’s never been the reason I feel this unshakable force. My answer now will be different: Yes, because of Israel Friends. Such an easy group. No kvetching—only love. Huge respect to the strong women who traveled here alone during an active war: Karen, “Boston,” Yana, and Deborah—true women of valor. And to Jodi, who waited 50 years to come home and chose to do so during the longest war in Israel’s history. You are now part of the Israel Friends family, and we’re never letting you go!
